THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, organized, and communicative Ad Operations & Compliance Manager to join our team. This is a critical role within our monetization engine — you will own the end-to-end process of ensuring every ad campaign running across our network is executed accurately, on time, and in full compliance with advertiser and agency specifications.
With a network spanning both owned properties and a large 1099 creator brokerage, this role requires someone who can hold the line on standards across a decentralized ecosystem — managing up to hosts and down to detail, and everything in between.
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
• Manage ad compliance tracking across all 75+ shows on the network, ensuring host-read integrations, mid-rolls, pre-rolls, and show takeovers are executed per advertiser specs and delivery deadlines.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the sales team, agency partners, and show hosts / 1099 talent for all campaign execution matters.
• Build, maintain, and continuously refine compliance reports that track delivery status, read accuracy, timing adherence, and exception rates by show and by campaign.
• Review and audit recordings and published episodes to verify ad delivery meets contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with agency partners on campaign specs, revisions, and makegoods.
• Maintain organized records of all insertion orders, ad scripts, approval documentation, and delivery confirmations.
• Proactively flag compliance risks and execution gaps to the Director of Sales and propose corrective actions.
• Support attribution and reporting workflows using tools such as Podsights, Chartable, or equivalent platforms.
• Help build scalable processes and SOPs to support network growth.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Required:
• 2–4+ years of experience in ad operations, campaign management, or compliance within digital media, podcasting, or a related field.
• Familiarity with the podcast and digital video advertising ecosystem — including host-read ads, CPM/CPP pricing, insertion orders, and campaign trafficking.
• Demonstrated ability to build clear, actionable reports and track performance data across multiple campaigns simultaneously.
• Exceptional organizational skills — you can manage dozens of moving pieces without letting anything fall through the cracks.
• Strong written communication skills for coordinating with agency contacts and creator partners.
• Strong verbal communication skills for handling sensitive conversations with talent and agency stakeholders.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a distributed creator network.
Preferred:
• Experience working with 1099 talent or a creator brokerage model.
• Familiarity with attribution platforms such as Podsights or Chartable.
• Experience with tools such as Notion, Airtable, Google Sheets, or similar platforms for building operational workflows.
• Prior exposure to sports media, sports radio, or sports podcast content.

In your first 90 days, you will have a clear view of every active campaign across the network, a working compliance reporting framework in place, and strong working relationships with our key agency contacts and creator partners. Within six months, compliance rates across the network will be meaningfully higher, agency partners will view North Station Media as a best-in-class execution partner, and you will have identified process improvements that reduce friction across the campaign lifecycle.
