Brand Viva Content and Marketing Operations Manager (Part-Time)
About the Role:
We’re a small, dynamic content marketing agency specializing in video production and podcast creation. We’re looking for a scrappy, resourceful operations manager who thrives on autonomy and efficiency. You’ll be the engine that turns client visions into reality—managing video and podcast projects, coordinating production teams, and ensuring seamless execution across all our content initiatives.
What Makes This Role Unique:
- Flexibility & Autonomy: Work 15-25 hours/week with significant freedom to manage your schedule
- Hybrid Setup: One day/week in our Denver Tech Center office; work remotely otherwise
- Core Hours: Available 9am-5pm M-F for client communication; tackle project work on your own schedule
- Compensation: $25-35/hour based on experience and skill level
- Growth Mindset: We value quick learners who spot inefficiencies and implement solutions
Primary Responsibilities:
Client & Project Management
- Serve as primary project contact between Brand Viva and clients
- Plan and execute video content and podcast projects from concept to completion
- Manage podcast scheduling, guest coordination, and show outline creation
- Lead weekly status meetings and drive team productivity
Team & Production Coordination
- Supervise and direct contractors and staff on video and content deliverables
- Implement and refine project management systems for maximum efficiency
- Schedule content across Brand Viva and client social media channels
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Participate in copywriting, creative development, and video/podcast content production
- Contribute to content strategy and campaign vision
- Join client meetings and sales calls as needed
- Create and maintain landing pages, email templates, and social posts for select clients
- Develop and manage email marketing campaigns for select clients
What You Bring:
Essential Experience:
- Production, staffing, and project management background (agency, studio, or video production environment preferred)
- Proven ability to manage multiple video/podcast projects under tight deadlines
- Strong systems thinking—you naturally create processes that improve workflow
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of video production and content creation processes
Key Traits:
- Self-starter who takes initiative without hand-holding
- Scrappy & resourceful—you find solutions with limited resources
- Fast learner who quickly adapts to new tools and processes
- Emotionally intelligent—you read the room and manage expectations diplomatically
- Organized & detail-oriented with exceptional follow-through
- Calm under pressure—deadlines energize rather than overwhelm you
Technical Skills:
- Experience with project management tools (Asana, ClickUp, or similar)
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing platforms (HubSpot, Brevo, or similar)
- Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT to improve efficiency
- Knowledge of content scheduling platforms and social media management tools
- Comfortable learning new software quickly
Ideal Candidate:
You’re someone who loves bringing order to creative chaos. You get energized by coordinating moving parts, solving problems on the fly, and making production teams more effective. You communicate clearly, prioritize ruthlessly, and deliver consistently. You want meaningful work with real ownership—not micromanagement.
