About the Position

High Performance is expanding its slate of successful shows, and we’re looking for an experienced Partnerships Manager to join our dynamic and fast-paced team.

High Performance produces high-quality content with a focus on insightful conversations, high-profile guests, and engaging storytelling.

If you thrive in a creative environment, have a passion for high-impact partnerships, and are eager to take ownership of onboarding & building relationships with key partners, this role could be for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Win New Business Accounts: Oversee all aspects of lead generation, building pitch decks, leading pitch meetings and be capable of achieving targeted 6 figure revenue levels.
  • Lead Generation: Take charge of bringing new business leads to High Performance across our media, production & event capabilities.
  • Reporting: Bring accurate reports to the Head of Partnerships with realistic expectations around the possibility of pipeline deals or account challenges. Transparency is essential so the Head of Partnerships has a clear understanding of the potential pipeline.
  • Manage Partner Accounts: Maintain relationships with onboarded clients, delivering the content on the sales package which has been sold. Flexibility as we grow to be able to manage accounts as well as sell is a key part of this role.
  • Communication: Possess skills to eloquently engage with senior stakeholders and lead meetings independently support the team, with the ability to make quick adjustments or fine-tune content as needed.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with small, but dedicated, teams to bring the best possible partnership solutions to clients. Be ready to “muck in” when needed, whether that’s brainstorming creative ideas or assisting with other tasks.

Experience required:

  • Experience in Media Sales: Minimum of 3-5 years working in a new business role, with a solid track record of winning clients from having no prior relationship. Experience working on 6 figure deals and generating significant revenue.
  • Account Management: Ability to manage client accounts and upsell accordingly.
  • YouTube and Audio knowledge: previous experience in selling either audio or video products. Podcast experience preferable but not mandatory.

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • Communication, Presentation, and Writing Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to craft engaging pitch decks and client facing emails.
  • Negotiation: Comfortable with negotiating under pressure.
  • Determination: Always focussed on achieving 100% of their goal
  • Positive Attitude & Team Spirit: We’re seeking someone who is motivated, solutions-oriented, and eager to contribute across all areas of partnerships. A willingness to help out and prioritize the business over personal gain is a must.
