About The Role
The Roost is a leading video and audio podcast network representing some of the world’s top creators. As part of Night — a next-gen talent management, venture capital, and startup incubation platform — The Roost connects media, creators, and brands.
We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Podcast Ad Operations Coordinator to support the end-to-end process of ad campaign execution across our growing network of podcasts and creators. This person will be part of the operational backbone of our sales and partnerships team, ensuring smooth handling of copy, brand approvals, product tracking, campaign management, reporting, and more. As a self-starter, this team member is able to pivot, solve problems, and drive success across the network.
Key Responsibilities
Ad Operations & Campaign Management
- Manage trafficking of host-read ad copy and instructions to producers and talent.
- Monitor in-episode placements for accuracy, timing, and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of ad reads and creative assets.
- Upload and schedule ads within hosting platforms (e.g., Megaphone)
- Support billing, invoicing, and campaign wrap reporting, including compiling performance data and screenshots.
Client & Partner Communication
- Act as primary contact for copy changes, airchecks, reporting, assets, etc.
- Manage brand approval workflows
- Send weekly automated emails to partners outlining current/upcoming ads.
- Communicate booking details to shows (e.g., Theo Von, Red Web, etc.)
Network Operations Strategy
- Evaluate vendor relationships and contracts related to podcast operations.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures for podcast tools.
- Collaborate with Night for sales, forecasting, and invoicing needs.
- Identify areas for improvement to support evolving business priorities.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in podcast, media, or digital ad operations
- Client-facing communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Enthusiasm for the creator industry, marketing trends, pop culture, etc.
- Experience with campaign trafficking, CRM/OMS tools and podcast platforms is a plus
Bonus Skills
- Experience working in podcast advertising or digital media sales support
- Understanding of ad reads, product seeding, and branded content workflows
- Knowledge of Airtable
