We’re looking for a Short-Form Video Editor who combines creativity, speed, and strategy to turn podcast clips, brand moments, and campaign footage into scroll-stopping content.
You’ll craft engaging, on-brand videos for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn, working closely with the Marketing Manager and Podcast Producer to bring HFK’s voice to life through storytelling, pacing, and data-driven creativity.
What You’ll Do
- Edit and optimize short-form videos for multiple platforms.
- Repurpose clips from 4+ podcast episodes monthly for social distribution.
- Edit organic, paid, and partner videos that drive engagement and retention.
- Apply strong storytelling instincts — hooks, pacing, structure, captions.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Podcast teams on creative direction.
- Stay current on editing trends to keep content fresh and high-performing.
- Maintain organized files and consistent brand visuals.
- Use performance insights to refine future edits.
What You’ll Bring
- 2–4 years of short-form editing experience (TikTok, Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn).
- Average of 10 hours per week of your services.
- Strong portfolio showcasing storytelling, pacing, and social fluency.
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro (After Effects/Descript a plus).
- Understanding of social trends, algorithms, and engagement tactics.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple edits.
- Collaborative, self-starting, and aligned with HFK’s mission and values.
