Job Description:
Armchair Expert is seeking a highly creative and experienced Social Media Video/Content Editor. A specialization in YouTube and Instagram is preferred. This role is ideal for someone who has experience with social media algorithms across major platforms, content creation, storytelling, and clip cutting experience. You’ll support the strategy to grow and optimize our presence across major social media platforms by being the point person to execute on weekly content. This would be through the creation and distribution of short-form video clips from our podcast episodes on multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation: (YouTube + Instagram)
- Identify compelling moments from podcast episodes to turn into short-form video clips.
- Edit clips with captions, music, and Armchair Expert branding.
- Schedule and post clips across key social channels.
- Maintain consistency in voice, tone, and aesthetic across all social media platforms.
Qualifications/Background:
- Proficiency with video editing tools and other content generation platforms.
- Considerable experience in clip cutting and video editing
- Ability to align content creation to Armchair branding
- Comfort with creator analytics platforms (e.g., Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, Sprout Social, or native platform insights).
