We’re hiring a Podcast Coordinator to help Thursday Labs deliver exceptional podcast experiences for our clients.

About Us: Thursday Labs produces weekly video podcasts for some of the most exciting tech founders and VCs in the industry. Founded two years ago, we’ve produced over 40 unique podcasts and hosted over 500 episodes featuring some truly amazing guests—like astronaut Scott Kelly, Eric Ries, Billy McFarland, Cassie Kozyrkov, and Azeem Azhar.

What You’ll Do:

Host Virtual Podcast Episodes:

• Record episodes virtually via Riverside (typically 45-60 mins each). Prior experience with Riverside or similar platforms is preferred, but training will be provided.
• Greet guests professionally, introduce episode topics, and create a welcoming, engaging atmosphere.

Represent Client Brands & Our Brand:

• You’ll be the first face guests see—professionalism, charisma, and strong interpersonal skills are key.
• Our clients will rely on you to deliver an exceptional experience to their guests before, during, and after the episode.
• Maintain an engaging and polished presence, positively reflecting both our brand and our clients.

Coordinate & Ensure Smooth Operations:

• Monitor recording sessions, manage technical details, and promptly address any issues.
• Troubleshoot common software issues, audio/video glitches, and wifi connectivity problems. Ideally, you’ll have the technical skills to help guests and clients optimize their webcam, microphone setups, and lighting to ensure excellent audio and video quality.
• Take detailed notes on standout moments, insightful quotes, and technical concerns.

• You’re highly professional, charismatic, and comfortable speaking with literally anyone—from tech founders to VCs to celebrities to astronauts.
• You’re organized and detail-oriented, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
• You have exceptional interpersonal skills and know how to keep conversations flowing effortlessly.
• You thrive in a dynamic environment and are flexible enough to handle multiple podcasts per day.

Compensation:

• Pay is $20-30/hr, based on experience level.
• Anticipate managing 10-20 episodes per week. Each episode is roughly 60 minutes.
• You’ll receive a bonus if a guest you greet decides to become a Thursday Labs client—extra incentive to deliver an exceptional experience!
