I’m looking for a sharp, fast-learning research assistant to help me with the My First Million podcast.
You’ll be my second brain – turning rough ideas podcast topics. And may need to help repost podcast stuff to other social.
Position is remote, but I do want to meet occasionally in NYC, so NY candidates preferred.
Position pays ~$4,000 a month and is not full time. I record two podcasts a week.
You need to understand my tastes and help me package ideas into great stories and know what my listeners love.
The role will be mostly async.
I want us to have a rolling document of things we’ve seen throughout the week that interest us and we’ll select a few and go deep on them and then talk about it on the pod.
For interviews, I want a one pager on the guest and interesting angles.
The best way to stand out on this form:
1. Don’t act like a frat bro. Humor’s good. But lower common denominator humor is dumb.
2. Write well. Be clear and concise.
3. Show me you have good taste. A combo of things that I love and can passionately talk about but also stuff my audience will love.
4. Be a professional. Show me you’re well organized and on top of it.
Good luck!
