About the Role

As Group Accounting Manager, you’ll be ultimately responsible for the group’s external accounting. You’ll ensure high quality, harmonization of accounting principles, and robust internal controls. The role is broad and hands-on—you’re expected to drive initiatives independently while also contributing strategically to process development at the group level.

You’ll report directly to the CFO and be the first dedicated group accounting resource on the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accuracy and quality in group accounting and reporting
• Harmonize accounting principles across group companies
• Develop documentation, policies, and internal control processes
• Lead group accounting and consolidation for ~15–20 legal entities
• Contribute to financial reports for management and the board
• Proactively improve accounting processes and system support
• Support and collaborate with local entities—build relationships and drive communication

Your Profile

We’re looking for someone who is either a certified public accountant or has previous experience from an audit firm, ideally combined with industry experience. You should have several years of experience in group accounting and consolidation, and be comfortable in complex financial environments.

You should also have:

• Strong proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• A keen interest in structure, quality, and internal control
• Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to build trust across borders
• Experience working in an international environment

You’re self-driven and proactive, and you thrive in an entrepreneurial setting where you take ownership and contribute with a solution-oriented mindset.

Bonus qualifications:

• Experience working with AARO
• Solid understanding of acquisition-related accounting
