Job Summary
As the VP of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in leading and executing Libsyn’s B2B marketing strategy. Your mission: to fuel customer acquisition, amplify brand presence, and expand market share, ultimately positioning Libsyn as the premier choice for podcasters and advertisers alike.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead a dynamic marketing team, overseeing everything from customer acquisition and brand strategy to sales materials and social media. Your role will involve close collaboration with product, sales, technology and other leaders across the organization to position Libsyn as the go-to platform for podcasters and advertisers worldwide.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with company goals to promote growth, elevate brand recognition, and boost customer acquisition.
- Work closely with the product team to ensure successful go-to-market launches and cohesive product messaging.
- Partner with Publisher and Advertising Sales teams to synchronize marketing efforts, ensuring alignment with sales goals.
- Leverage your knowledge of SaaS marketing strategies and metrics including LTV and CAC metrics to drive effective acquisition.
- Create and execute impactful, multi-channel campaigns across social media, email, paid media, and content marketing.
- Build and mentor a talented marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, data-driven decision-making, and accountability.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and performance metrics to executive leadership to inform strategic adjustments.

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear messaging.
- Analytical mindset, skilled at interpreting data to inform decision making.
- Deep experience with marketing automation, marketing operations, and inbound/outbound marketing techniques for a SaaS business.
- Advanced knowledge of SEO/SEM, CRM, email marketing, and analytics platforms.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, thriving in high-growth environments.
- Passion for developing your team and helping them advance in their career goals.
- Experience managing and fostering collaboration within remote teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive marketing experience, with 10 years in leadership.
