What We’re Looking For:
Reporting to the VP of Client Services, this position will focus on overseeing the effective implementation of our client’s advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate will excel in a dynamic environment, possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills, and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Additionally, they should be resourceful, proficient in data management, and adept in negotiation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong relationships. Understand client goals, expectations, and needs to deliver tailored advertising solutions.
- Plan, execute, and optimize audio advertising campaigns across various podcast platforms to meet client objectives and KPIs.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify appropriate podcast channels and audiences for campaign targeting.
- Negotiate media buying opportunities with podcast publishers and networks to ensure competitive pricing and campaign effectiveness.
- Manage the end-to-end process of media buying, including budget management, insertion order processing, and campaign performance tracking.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with podcast publishers and content creators to secure premium inventory and exclusive advertising opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, audience insights, and emerging technologies in audio advertising to enhance campaign strategies.
- Deliver comprehensive reporting and analytics processes to measure campaign success. Utilize data to provide insights and recommendations to clients and internal teams. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all reporting activities.
Ideal Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant podcast and/or creator advertising experience
- Genuine passion for podcasts and/or podcast marketing
- Proven experience as a Media Buyer, preferably with a focus on audio or podcast advertising
- Experience with Google Analytics and data visualization tools
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present campaign strategies to clients.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or related field
