About the role

We’re looking for a bold, resourceful, and highly organized Brand Marketing Partnerships Manager to join Shopify’s Brand team. In this role, you’ll help bring our most ambitious marketing ideas to life by executing talent-led partnerships across celebrities, creators, and culturally relevant brands. From IRL activations to digital-first storytelling, you’ll manage the end-to-end production of breakthrough campaigns that put Shopify at the center of entrepreneurship and culture.

You’re someone who thrives in the chaos of a fast-moving campaign—who can see the creative potential in a rough brief, make it sharper, and then move it from paper to reality. You’ve worked with big names and budgets of all sizes. You understand how to make celebrity and creator partnerships feel authentic, and you know how to manage a matrix of internal stakeholders and external partners with grace and precision.

Please don’t apply unless you already have the legal right to live and work in the United States or Canada. We cannot provide immigration support for this role.

What you’ll do:

  • Activate bold brand partnerships with celebrities, creators, and cult brands to help tell Shopify’s story in culture.
  • Lead cross-functional execution of omni-channel campaigns—spanning social, experiential, digital, and influencer—with a focus on driving cultural relevance and brand love.
  • Manage creator and celebrity relationships from pitch and contracting through production, acting as a key point of contact and partner.
  • Translate ambitious ideas into highly organized project plans, timelines, and workflows—keeping creative momentum high while managing budgets and resources.
  • Collaborate with Creative, Social, Comms, Experiential , and agency partners to bring campaigns to life across every touchpoint.
  • Track and report on campaign performance, integrating key learnings into future work.

What you bring:

  • 4-6 years of experience in brand partnerships, talent management, experiential marketing, or campaign production—either in-house or agency-side.
  • A strong operator with project management superpowers—able to move complex campaigns forward across stakeholders, vendors, and talent reps.
  • Experience managing celebrity and creator partnerships, including negotiations, content development, and live/experiential integration.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-impact creative on lean budgets and fast timelines.
  • A connector of dots – across IRL and digital, talent and brand, audience and platform.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, creative risk-taking, and high stakes.
  • Deep knowledge of emerging talent, platforms, and cultural trends.
  • Data-informed mindset with an ability to analyze performance and optimize accordingly.

About Shopify

Opportunity is not evenly distributed. Shopify puts independence within reach for anyone with a dream to start a business. We propel entrepreneurs and enterprises to scale the heights of their potential. Since 2006, we’ve grown to over 8,300 employees and generated over $1 trillion in sales for millions of merchants in 175 countries.

This is life-defining work that directly impacts people’s lives as much as it transforms your own. This is putting the power of the few in the hands of the many, is a future with more voices rather than fewer, and is creating more choices instead of an elite option.

About you

Moving at our pace brings a lot of change, complexity, and ambiguity—and a little bit of chaos. Shopifolk thrive on that and are comfortable being uncomfortable. That means Shopify is not the right place for everyone.

Before you apply, consider if you can:

  • Care deeply about what you do and about making commerce better for everyone
  • Excel by seeking professional and personal hypergrowth
  • Keep up with an unrelenting pace (the week, not the quarter)
  • Be resilient and resourceful in face of ambiguity and thrive on (rather than endure) change
  • Bring critical thought and opinion
  • Use AI tools reflexively as part of your fundamental workflow
  • Embrace differences and disagreement to get shit done and move forward
  • Work digital-first for your daily work

Are you the right fit for this?
