ABOUT YOU

You’re a sales dynamo who lives by the mantra, “Nothing happens until someone sells something.” As a NEW BUSINESS sales expert, you excel at the intersection of digital media, business development, adtech, and customer service. With a relentless hunter’s mentality, you consistently prospect, qualify leads, and set up revenue-generating meetings. Even with a packed schedule, you always find time to make that extra call, send another email, and follow up just one more time. Driving sales results is your passion, and that’s precisely what will be expected of you. Working at an early-stage startup means wearing many hats, which offers ample opportunities to learn, gain experience beyond traditional sales roles, and engage with a wide range of industries, including media, advertising, adtech, publishers, agencies, SSPs, DSPs and more.

THE CAREER

  • Close New Business Revenue: Propel revenue growth by closing new business deals.
  • Generate and Qualify Sales Leads: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified sales leads through daily prospecting, cold outreach, market analysis, and networking, moving them through the sales pipeline to closure.
  • Showcase Barometer’s Value: Demonstrate how Barometer’s platform can meet customer KPIs and drive their desired business outcomes through win-win solutions.
  • Educate and Demo: Educate potential clients on our offerings and provide compelling platform demos.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients and prospects.
  • Research and Prospect: Continuously research companies and add qualified prospects to our outbound list.
  • Maintain CRM Accuracy: Ensure accurate and automated client relationship data management within our CRM system.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A positive “can do” attitude with a desire to be the best.
  • 2+ years of sales experience in media, adtech, new business B2B Sales, and/or related fields.
  • Persistence, tenacity, and grit—what we do requires dedication and effort.
  • Motivation to hit, exceed, and crush objectives and goals.
  • Curiosity to deeply understand our ideal customer segment and industries.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Commitment to tracking and improving performance and efficiency regularly.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: a self-starter with high motivation, urgency, and the ability to navigate undefined processes.

NICE TO HAVES

  • Prior CRM experience (preferably HubSpot).
  • Experience in SaaS or AI sales.
  • Experience at a high-growth startup.

COMPENSATION

  • $75k – $85k salary, based on qualifications and experience.
