Job Summary
Ad Results Media, the largest podcast media agency in the country, is seeking a Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with our Engineering, Analytics, Media, and Strategy teams to create and update Looker dashboards, troubleshoot data issues, and manage analytics requests. This role will act as a liaison between the Media and Analytics teams to manage and allocate requests efficiently. Additionally, the Data Analyst will be responsible for data exploration and identifying actionable insights to drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Dashboard Creation and Maintenance:
• Collaborate with Media and Strategy teams to develop and update client Looker dashboards.
• Implement updates and enhancements to existing dashboards and building new dashboards based on team requests.
Data Troubleshooting:
• Identify and resolve data issues within the database, reports, or data entry.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reports and dashboards.
Request Management:
• Manage analytics requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses to requests.
• Act as a liaison between the Media and Analytics teams to prioritize and allocate requests.
Data Exploration and Insights:
• Conduct data exploration to identify trends and insights.
• Question and analyze reports and data to uncover valuable insights.
Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
• Experience with Looker or similar data visualization tools.
Skills:
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with database management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in a media or advertising agency.
• Knowledge of other data analysis tools such as Python or R.
• Familiarity with podcast media analytics.
