Lemonada Media is seeking a full-time, results-focused marketing leader. The Director, Marketing Revenue & Audience Growth will lead and manage our network’s subscriptions, premium content, and merchandise and contribute to our audience growth goals. The Director, Marketing Revenue & Audience Growth co-reports to the Senior Vice President, Growth & Marketing and the Senior Director, Audience Growth.

Roles and Responsibilities

Lead and manage Lemonada Media’s subscription and premium offerings with a focus on an annual subscription revenue goal.

  • Develop omnichannel marketing strategies to drive subscription acquisition and retainment, including sales/price promotions, audio promotions, digital promotions, and social media strategy
  • Collaborate with production teams to deliver premium content and continually improve overarching strategy
  • Work with external vendor and network partners to optimize premium and subscription offerings

Contribute to Lemonada Media’s annual audience growth goals.

  • Lead partner management for ongoing series and ongoing communication with external teams
  • Maintaining editorial calendars and track audience growth strategies
  • Write copy for internal promos
  • Support trades and outreach for priority shows as needed

Manage Lemonada Media’s merchandise strategy and execution. 

  • Manage merchandise P&L (both revenue and costs) and meet/exceed quarterly and annual merchandise revenue goals
  • Project manage multiple vendors and partnerships, from contract to fulfillment and sales
  • Develop marketing campaigns and strategies across touchpoints to drive merchandise sales

Required Experience and Competencies

  • 5-7 years of professional experience
  • Experience with subscriptions, membership, lifecycle marketing and/or loyalty programs
  • Strong relationship building skills with both internal and external constituencies
  • Ability to be both highly analytical/data-driven and creative as needed
  • Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Highly organized and ability to prioritize with an exceptional ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
  • Data-driven decision-making with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Applications

Preferred Experience and Competencies

  • Experience in podcast or media industry
  • Experience with omnichannel or multichannel marketing initiatives
  • Familiarity with YouTube and video simulcasts/podcasts

Employment Logistics

This position is full-time. We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience. We also offer Medical, Dental, Vision benefits, Life and ST Disability, Medical and Dependent Care FSA, Commuter Benefits, 401K, and Flexible PTO to all full-time regular employees plus a generous holiday schedule that includes 2 weeks full-team time off and 2 additional weeks of paid holidays.

Desired Start Date: January 2025

Salary:  $70,000-$88,000 depending on experience

Location: Remote. Some travel required.
