ESPN Cleveland Sales and Marketing Coordinator

ESPN Cleveland and Good Karma Brands are looking for a Sales and Marketing Coordinator, based out of Cleveland, OH, to support and contribute to our continued growth. As the official home of the Cleveland Browns, Ohio State football and basketball, and Kent State basketball, ESPN Cleveland is a historical destination for sports fans near and far. Content from iconic local sports media personalities is supplemented by a variety of best-in-class signature events for fans, partners, and teammates. ESPN Cleveland is now looking for a Sales and Marketing Coordinator to help the team reach new heights.

The Role of a Sales and Marketing Coordinator:
As a Sales and Marketing Coordinator for ESPN Cleveland and Good Karma Brands, no two days will be the same. This role has a hand in all sales and marketing initiatives including promotions, events, advertising campaigns, and partner development. As the Sales and Marketing Coordinator, you would be the face of the team engaging with fans in the community and working with all departments to help bring advertising partners’ goals and initiatives to life. The Sales and Marketing Coordinator will be a true extension of our ESPN Cleveland sales and marketing teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, a thorough knowledge of the business, a need to be organized and proactive, a friendly and upbeat personality, and an eagerness to wear many hats!
Daily Tasks of a Sales and Marketing Coordinator:
- Plan, execute, and oversee station events
- Create and design sales materials, media kits, and campaigns
- Assist content team on the execution of all site surveys and remote broadcasts
- Facilitate community requests and involvement
- Develop and handle marketing vendor and trade partnerships
- Contribute to the development of interns and part-time marketing teammates
- Monitor and maintain all marketing inventory, including promotional items, signage, and station vehicle
- Collaborate with marketing teammates to track promotional expenses
- Assist with planning and executing station contests
- Work with Director of Marketing to ensure all campaign deliverables are executed
- Provide sales support, including but not limited to sales order entry
- Create event and campaign recaps
- Participate in marketing brainstorm meetings
- Attend advertising and community partner meetings
- Be a Good Karma Brands ambassador by adhering to GKB’s core values: Listen, Be Honest, Work Hard, Over Deliver, Teamwork, and Follow Through
Preferred knowledge, skills and qualifications:
- Passion to be a part of a team and the ability to work independently
- Ability to work with PowerPoint, Canva, and Photoshop (Premiere or AfterEffects is a plus)
- Ability to lead brainstorm sessions and ideate marketing solutions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Personal sense of responsibility and accountability
- Friendly, optimistic, and upbeat personality
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to accept and provide feedback
- Solution-oriented/problem-solver
- With this career, you are required to hold a valid driver’s license
Hours/Salary/Benefits
This is a non-exempt role with a competitive base salary and overtime eligible for hours worked over 40 per week. This role is eligible for full benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, Life Insurance, STD, LTD, 401(k) Plan, Dependent Care, paid parental leave, and more with opportunities for salary growth increase with skills and responsibilities and meeting targeted goals. The position will be required to work some evenings and weekends.
