We are seeking a highly motivated Podcast Acquisition Manager with experience recruiting in the podcast video and/or audio space. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive the growth of a fast-paced, rapidly expanding organization. - Lead end-to-end deal execution — from first contact to signed contract — including talent outreach, pitch development, negotiation, and onboarding
- Negotiate partnership agreements with a clear understanding of Minimum Guarantees, industry revenue shares, and deal structures that balance creator value with business performance
- Maintain a high-quality talent pipeline, actively sourcing leads, managing outreach, and logging activity in CRM tools (Salesforce, Affinity)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Ad Ops, Marketing, and Legal to ensure smooth deal execution and post-signing alignment
- Represent The Roost in the market, attending industry events, talent meetings, and conferences to build visibility and drive deal flow
- Track and report on acquisition performance, pipeline status, and deal conversion metrics regularly to senior leadership
- Support the Head of Partnerships and broader team with strategic growth initiatives, special projects, and launch planning
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in podcast, YouTube, and / or creator and talent acquisition with a proven track record of successfully signing creators
- Strong negotiation and deal-closing experience, especially with content creators, talent agents, and IP owners
- Deep understanding of the podcast and digital video ecosystem, including monetization models, distribution platforms, and competitive networks
- Skilled at building and maintaining authentic creator relationships while navigating business needs and timelines
- Highly organized with strong project management and CRM fluency
- Los Angeles-based and ability to travel to meet talent and attend events in key markets

- Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized in managing tasks and deadlines
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
