Job Title: Programmatic Buyer

Reports to: Senior Programmatic Buyer

OVERVIEW

Ad Results Media is seeking a Programmatic Buyer to join our Media Department. Their overall objective will be to help optimize performance marketing campaigns by conducting analysis of ad performance across various platforms.

The Programmatic Buyer will be responsible for supporting the media team in executing programmatic buys for clients, implementing activation strategies, identifying KPIs and framework, and optimizing campaigns for success. A capable buyer can thrive in a fast-paced environment and must be detail-oriented, organized, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They are resourceful with negotiation skills and have a willingness to work towards becoming a thought leader in the evolving landscape of programmatic audio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

● Own the campaign build process, ensuring that approved budgets and tactics are implemented within DSP platforms.

● Monitor campaign performance, optimize, and communicate campaign effectiveness succinctly to both internal stakeholders and external clients.

● Create elaborate A/B tests within campaign tactics to identify winning strategies.

● Provide nuanced campaign reporting on various KPIs, identifying areas where campaign performance can be improved.

● Work through technical challenges that arise with our DSP vendors to facilitate growth within their product roadmaps.

● Foster new relationships with data vendors and publishers to develop effective activation of the client’s programmatic media budget.

● Work with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive approach is followed to drive conversions for our clients.

● Collaborate with internal teams and communicate with media partners to ensure that the

● campaign is set up to report on the right metrics.

● Keep up with new and innovative programmatic technology trends to retain ARMs reputation as a leader in the space.

● Assist with new business and existing client proposal creation and distribution.

MANDATORY SKILLS FOR SUCCESS IN THIS POSITION

● 1-3 years of work experience in media, marketing, or advertising, with preliminary experience trading campaigns, leveraging yield optimization, and using DSP console systems such as DV360, The Trade Desk, AdsWizz, Verizon, etc.

● An understanding of the programmatic landscape, with knowledge of 3rd party data and brand safety vendors (LiveRamp, Comscore, Bluekai etc) and their benefits.

● Experience working with 3rd party pixel tracking and audience-based buying methodologies.

● Self-starter, industrious and strong critical thinking skills

● Experience working with 3rd party reporting tools and a keen sense for data-based optimization.

● A team player attitude is paramount; a willingness to “drink from the firehose.”

● Thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a thirst for learning.

● An understanding of automated bidding processes, with the ability to improve trading efficiencies.

● High proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and G-Suite products.

● Strong numerical aptitude and accuracy.

● Deadline-oriented, being able to manage deadlines both with clients and internal stakeholders.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

● High emotional IQ, with a strong aptitude towards communicating in a remote-first environment effectively with both clients and internal teams

● Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to perform detailed tasks with accuracy

● An active listener who is engaged towards understanding the task at hand.

● Confident demeanor, but also understanding when to ask for help and clarification.

● Strong track record of meeting deadlines on projects.

● Strong sense of teamwork and willingness to collaborate cross-functionally.
