ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re hiring a part-time Sales Specialist to help us scale our sales.

Over time, this role will take ownership of founder-led sales.

This is a consultative role focused on real conversations, diagnosis, and decision-making.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Run discovery (Call 1) and decision calls (Call 2)

Manage follow-up and pipeline

Maintain CRM visibility

Drive prospects to clear decisions

Participate in select in-person events, conferences, and speaking engagements to support relationship-building and sales opportunities

 

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

First 90 Days:

Run discovery confidently

Move prospects to Call 2

Strong follow-through

Close deals w/ founder assistance

Assist at upcoming event in April

 

 

 

 

6–12 Months:

Close deals independently – quota of 16 closed sales in first 12 mo’s

Maintain clean pipeline

Represent brand effectively

QUALIFICATIONS

We care less about traditional credentials and more about how you think, communicate, and operate.

 

Baseline Experience:

2–5 years in a client-facing role (sales, account management, consulting, or similar)

Experience leading conversations with prospects or stakeholders

 

Communication & Thinking:

Ability to ask strong questions and guide conversations

Strong listening and summarization skills

Comfortable thinking without scripts

 

Sales & Business Acumen:

Understand how businesses evaluate decisions

Ability to connect problems to outcomes

 

 

Operational Discipline:

Strong follow-up habits

Experience using CRM or willingness to learn

 

Domain Familiarity (Preferred):

Exposure to podcasting, media, or content

 

Mindset:

You are coachable

Must be comfortable with lower-volume, high-ticket sales

You take ownership of outcomes and look for ways to improve your performance over time

You hold yourself to a high standard without needing external pressure

You care about doing things well, not just getting them done

You are willing to cultivate and foster client relationships

 

COMPENSATION

– $30K base

– 2.5% of total contract value paid out in the month of the sale

– 10% of cash collected for consulting projects, paid out monthly.

 

This provides a total pay of $90K in the first year for a part time role with significant opportunity to grow beyond that amount as capacity increases.
