About The Role

The Tribeca Audio Storytelling Coordinator will be responsible for supporting and helping to organize the 2025 Tribeca Audio program. Part of the larger 2025 Tribeca Festival taking place June 4-15, Tribeca Audio recognizes the best audio stories submitted through a juried competition in addition to producing a curated selection of live audio events featuring the industry’s greatest storytellers. This multifaceted role will oversee the scheduling and logistics of both the Official Selections program and our lineup of live audio events.

About You

Our ideal candidate will be highly organized, sociable, adaptable, self-motivated, and a collaborative and creative problem solver. They will proactively anticipate needs and obstacles and work to prevent problems before they arise. Previous experience working live events, ideally festivals, as well as a passion for audio storytelling and podcasts are a must. As this is a highly visible position, the candidate must be an effective communicator, trusted to successfully represent Tribeca Audio both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

For Official Selections Program:

  • Collect, organize, and manage Official Selections materials:
    • Collect and organize headshots/bios, project files, descriptions, still images, and any relevant releases, any press release materials from creative teams
    • Organize, track and share appropriate releases with Tribeca legal
    • Coordinate with our press and marketing teams and ensure all information on the website is factual and up to date on an ongoing basis
  • Serve as point of contact for all Official Selections teams and creators
    • Provide creators, press, and industry guests with appropriate Festival access and credentials and coordinate badge pickup
    • Share and collect social toolkits with Official Selection teams
    • Assist in scheduling festival events and respond to any hospitality inquiries
  • Assist in producing the Official Selection Live Previews events and coordinate all associated materials and assets
  • Assist Audio Storytelling publicist and talent on red carpets
  • Coordinate jury deliberations in collaboration with Artist Relations team
  • Assist with creators’ market participants and materials

For Production of Live Events Lineup:

  • Collect and manage relevant materials including:
    • Headshots, bios, participation releases, social toolkits to be shared with participants
    • Any audio, video, presentation files for shows and share them with venue managers
    • Assist in creating detailed run of show documents and sharing them
    • Build, manage, and share schedules and call sheets
  • Support manager with updating and tracking master grids and spreadsheets
  • With partnership team, ensure all contractual obligations are met both digitally and onsite
  • Complete Festival wrap report

SKILLS + REQUIREMENTS

  • Passion for audio storytelling and podcasting
  • 1-3 years experience as a coordinator working in festivals, theatrical and/or immersive live event production, and A/V tech skills a major plus
  • Experience in talent relations, festival relations, working with creators
  • Strong proficiencies in Outlook, Excel, Word, Google Drive, Slack, and similar is a must
  • Able to handle large volume of emails with ease
  • Highly organized and process-driven with a strong attention to detail
  • Hospitality / customer service experience essential
  • A willingness to adapt, ability to manage stressful situations with a positive attitude
  • Learns quickly, is proactive in problem-solving, willing to learn new things
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and departments both internal and external
  • Experience managing budgets and spending
  • Willing to work both remote and onsite during the festival

SALARY: $900/$1000, weekly

This position is seasonal, running from 3/17/2024 – 6/20/2024
