JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic assistant producer to support our podcast team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in sports, basic audio and video skills, and a desire to learn the ins and outs of podcasting, remote video production and social media. This role will assist the production team in various tasks, including recording, editing, and publishing podcasts, as well as supporting the multimedia rollout of videos and social posts.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the production of conversational podcast/vodcast episodes.
- Support recording, engineering, video editing, live production, file management and other production workflows.
- Aid live podcast production shoots with note taking, research and running graphics via Tagboard.
- Assist in publishing and programming podcasts via internal CMS, Simplecast, & YouTube.
- Collaborate with video, editorial & social teams to coordinate tasks and deliver media.
- Provide on-site and remote production support for field and studio shoots as needed.
Requirements
- 1-2 years experience in remote digital media and/or podcast production.
- Basic knowledge of audio & video production including engineering, lighting, framing, remote troubleshooting, editing, and mixing.
- Familiarity with Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, vMix & Tagboard is preferred.
- Flexibility with scheduling is a must, including nights, weekends and holidays, as dictated by the sports calendar.
- Strong copywriting and grammar skills for rundowns, metadata, episode descriptions, and social posts.
- Passion for all sports is a must.
Details
- Contract position, hourly wage.
- Contract for twelve months with possibility of extension up to eighteen months.
- Remote work.
