Audion360 Podcast Platform Receives Certification for Compliance to IAB Tech Lab Podcast Measurement Guidelines

Just one year after the launch of Audion360, a leading French digital audio monetization platform has achieved certification from the IAB Tech Lab for compliance to the IAB Tech Lab guidelines for podcast measurement.

The IAB Tech Lab is an international association whose mission is to structure the Internet communications market, promote its use, and optimize its effectiveness. This IAB 2.1 standard is followed by most podcast hosts and advertising networks internationally, and provides a common basis for comparison on audience statistics. The IAB Tech Lab’s certification program recognizes companies that meet these rigorous standards. The global certification complements Audion’s local effort to allow Audion’s publisher partners to be measured locally, notably through the ACPM in France.

“While we have been using this methodology from the start, this certification formally validates all the audience measurements and advertising impressions that we manage daily for hundreds of brands and podcasters.” — Arthur Larrey, Co-founder of Audion

Audion achieved certification from the IAB Tech Lab after independent validation by the Alliance for Audited Media.

“We are delighted to see the IAB Tech Lab validate Audion’s hard work in the audio industry with this certification. Audion thus becomes a key player in the sector. This certification is part of an approach to transparency with certifications via third-party measurers on all our operations.” — Kamel El Hadef, Co-Founder of Audion

The Power of Branded Podcasts

Wednesday, March 12th at 2PM EST

The Power of Branded Podcasts Sounds Profitable's flagship consumer behavior study, The Podcast Landscape, found that 43% of Americans 18+ would likely listen to a podcast about a favorite brand or product - up 3 percentage points from the previous year. What's more, 15% said they would be "very likely" to do so - including millions of consumers who aren't already listening to podcasts. The Power of Branded Podcasts, from Sounds Profitable and JAR Audio, will take a look at these Brand Fans in a whole new light - not only for their value as consumers, but also as potential force multipliers for podcasting. Tom Webster will walk attendees through brand new, unreleased research on who these consumers are and what makes them tick, while Liz Hames, Director of Audience Growth at JAR Audio will offer insight into how brands can build and sustain proven growth strategies, distribution tactics, and ways to turn listeners into loyal fans. This free webinar will offer more than just the numbers, but also a practical, real- world example of the power of branded podcasts from Andrea Marquez, Senior Producer and Host, Podcast Programming at Amazon. Andrea will explore why (and how) podcasts have become a powerful marketing channel for leading brands, demonstrating how strategy, audience engagement, storytelling contribute to brand success.
