Former Pacific Content Staff Launch a Sequel

Sequel

September 17, 2024

Co-founders Tori Allen and Andy Sheppard have opened Sequel, a podcast production studio that helps marketing leaders captivate audiences and elevate brand stories.

“It’s easy to make a podcast, but it’s not easy to make one your audience loves. That’s where Sequel comes in,” says Sheppard, a former Showrunner at Pacific Content and the creative director behind Charles Schwab’s award-winning podcast “Choiceology.”

“As Pacific was shutting down, Andy and I realized we were having similar conversations with clients,” recalls Allen, who steered productions for Morgan Stanley, OnStar, and Red Hat.

“They were really sad that the relationship with our team was going to end,” says Sheppard. “We started Sequel for them, but also to offer our expertise to a variety of organizations and budgets, without compromising on strategy or creativity.”

The duo recruited former Pacific colleagues and kicked off productions in July. “This team has a record of making podcasts that grow brand awareness and consideration, without feeling branded,” adds Allen. “We wanted to keep the magic going.”

Pacific Content Co-Founders, Steve Pratt and Jennifer Ouano, are excited Sequel is taking their independent, start-up spirit forward.

Steve Pratt: “Andy Sheppard and Tori Allen are two of the smartest, most talented, and experienced creative professionals I’ve ever met. It’s exciting to see a new company emerge with an incredible team and such a great roster of clients.”

Jennifer Ouano: “Sequel is the real deal. Top-of-the-industry audio professionals with decades of experience, this team is savvy, proven, and a joy to work with. Hire them if you want to make a podcast that truly stands out, and you want to have fun doing it.”

With strategic partners, Sequel offers clients a suite of podcast services, including audience growth campaigns and video production.
