Introducing Sound Sorceresses Magazine: Celebrating Women’s Voices in Audio Storytelling

Sound Sorceresses

September 13, 2023

September 6, 2023 — Sound Sorceresses is proud to announce its highly-anticipated launch on October 1st. This groundbreaking quarterly publication will showcase the talent and innovation of women in the field. The content will be a unique blend of narrative and technical pieces.

Sound Sorceresses is a celebration of women’s ability to turn a pain point into something amazing. Editor-in-Chief, Rachel Hanson, started the magazine out of frustration because women are still often overlooked as the technical experts they are in audio storytelling. This magazine will serve as a place to find women excelling in their digital storytelling craft.

Sound Sorceresses Magazine invites women and enthusiasts of audio storytelling to join them on this exciting journey. The inaugural issue, set to launch on October 1st, promises a blend of inspiration, education, and celebration of women’s contributions to audio media.

Audio Primes: The People Who Listen to Podcasts

Thursday, April 16th at 2PM EST

In this webinar, Sounds Profitable unveils Audio Primes, a new audience segment sponsored by RSS.com and drawn from The Podcast Landscape 2025 study. These are podcast consumers who listen to at least three-quarters of their content as audio, and they defy every stereotype you might have about them. We'll walk through who they are, how they consume media, what drives their remarkable loyalty, and why they function as the word-of-mouth engine of the entire podcast ecosystem. Join Tom Webster, Partner at Sounds Profitable, and Alberto Betella from RSS.com as they present original research you won't find anywhere else. Whether you sell ads, make shows, or build platforms, you'll leave with a clearer picture of the audience that matters most and a better understanding of what to do about it.
