Lemonada Media, the award-winning podcast network that makes life suck less, today announced the addition of popular comedy and pop-culture podcasts Podcrushed and Threedom to its original podcast lineup. The network will oversee ad sales and distribution for both shows.
“Podcrushed,” hosted by Penn Badgley (“Gossip Girl,” “YOU”), Nava Kavelin and Sophie Ansari, explores the heartbreak, anxiety and the self discovery of being a teenager. The hosts bring listeners heartfelt and hilarious stories and conversations about middle school, from first loves and heartbreaks to embarrassing memories and coming of age. Season 3 is scheduled to begin airing on Lemonada in April 2024.
Each week on “Threedom,” comedians Scott Aukerman, Lauren Lapkus and Paul F. Tompkins abandon their regular formats to focus on being funny with each other. New episodes will begin releasing on Lemonada on February 29, 2024.
“Lemonada is thrilled to welcome Penn, Nava and Sophie to the Lemonada family. We have long been fans of ‘Podcrushed’ and the ‘Podcrushed’ community, and we love their unique ability to take the lemons of middle school heartbreak and anxiety and turn them to lemonade,” shares Lemonada’s CEO and co-founder Jess Cordova Kramer. “We are equally excited for ‘Threedom’ to join Lemonada’s growing comedy slate. Scott, Paul and Lauren have built a special and hilarious show with the belief that comedy is the very best remedy for… anything,” Cordova Kramer adds.
