Maggie Sellers Reum’s ‘Hot Smart Rich’ Unveils Bold New Brand World For Season Two

FlightStory-backed Hot Smart Rich launches its most ambitious season yet alongside a full rebrand, a brand new studio and an opening episode with one of the most-followed female voices in finance, Codie Sanchez.

[LOS ANGELES, Wednesday 25th February 2026] ICYMI, Hot Smart Rich (HSR) is not here to play it safe. Backed by a seven-figure investment from Steven Bartlett’s FlightStory, Maggie Sellers Reum’s female ambition brand is kicking off a new season with a whole new look and the kind of guest lineup that makes you cancel your plans and clear your afternoon.

At a time when podcasting is being recognised alongside film and television for its production quality and cultural impact, HSR is raising the bar, approaching Season Two with the rigour of a high-end studio production, pivoting away from the usual ‘two people, two microphones’ setup, instead creating a brand world that is uniquely HSR. For the first time, the entire studio build was imaged using detailed 3D technology with real-world measurements, so that when it came to the physical build, every detail was already locked and immediately ready to execute.

The rebrand, built around HSR’s signature deep burgundy and warm cream colour palette and the unique visual language of the brand, rolls out across every touchpoint, from social to set design, and was built to be as bold and unapologetic as the conversations. The result is much more than just a visual refresh; it is the creation of an unmistakable HSR universe, a brand world designed to feel immersive for both viewers and guests, cinematic and instantly recognisable the moment you step into it.

At the centre of it all is an entirely new purpose-built set located in Los Angeles. Conceived with a minimalist luxury feel in mind, the space was developed through a close and collaborative partnership between Maggie and the FlightStory team.

But unlike traditional podcast sets, the HSR studio was engineered as a bespoke brand environment. Every detail was considered: seating angles, eyelines, textures, tones, spatial dynamics and how guests physically inhabit the space. Using proprietary testing and 3D design technology, FlightStory stress-tested the set (from the chairs to the colours, the framing and the wall art) to understand what commands attention, what feels culturally premium, and what makes both host and guest feel like they’ve stepped into the HSR brand world, a world that lives and breathes beyond a single episode.

As a result, the episodes, which will be rolled out as long-form episodes and shorter social clips, feel like you’re in the room and listening to friends.

Maggie Sellers Reum, HSR host, shares: “I wanted to build a world where ambitious women would be excited to step into and be a part of. A world that feels like you’re gossiping with your best friends on anything from how to invest, how to build your personal brand, or how to build wealth, to how to raise your standards in life and in relationships as well as choosing partners and environments that truly match your ambition. The creative direction, the studio, the content, all fulfill our mission at Hot Smart Rich: unselfishly sharing access to the rooms and conversations where the future of creators, capital, culture, and community actually get talked about.”

The season launches with an episode featuring investor, entrepreneur, and top female voice in financial media, Codie Sanchez, with over nine million followers across platforms. The conversation covers the ‘asset ownership race’ and why women are better positioned than they think to win it. It sets the tone for a season focused not just on inspiration, but on tangible ownership, scale and legacy, and Codie Sanchez is the perfect person to open that conversation.

HSR’s growth story started the way the best ones do: organically and in community. What began as a WhatsApp group in 2022 became one of the fastest-growing business podcasts in the US: 1.8M total downloads, 500K individual listeners, all in under a year. All in a space where, according to USC Annenberg research*, only 7% of business and entrepreneurship podcasts are hosted by women.

Now, through its partnership with FlightStory, HSR is applying the same proprietary growth methodology behind The Diary Of A CEO (the world’s second-biggest interview podcast, 35 million followers, 1 billion+ streams) to scale to the biggest female ambition brand of the next decade. The investment targets a 10x increase in revenue and team size, with expansion across content, commercial partnerships, community, product, and e-commerce.

Season Two of Hot Smart Rich is proof of what happens when you disrupt category conventions and design every one-percent detail with intention.

Season 2 of Hot Smart Rich is available on YouTube and all major podcast platforms from the 25th February, 8AM PST/4PM GMT.
