INDIANAPOLIS, IN — March 18, 2026 — Just in time for March Madness, Visit Indy today launches Hysteria, a new limited series that dives into the stories, players, and moments that transformed the game of basketball. Rooted in Indiana, the state that helped define basketball culture, Hysteria brings listeners inside some of the sport’s most unforgettable chapters.

Through first-hand interviews and storytelling, Hysteria revisits iconic moments and explores the players who made them happen. From the legacy of Indiana University’s legendary undefeated 1976 championship team to the electrifying 2010 NCAA tournament run by Butler University, the series captures the drama and spirit that define March (and beyond).

Listeners will hear directly from Hoosier legend Quinn Buckner about what it was like to play for Bob Knight on the last undefeated men’s team in college basketball. NCAA Vice President of Men’s Basketball JoAn Scott shares that inside story on Indianapolis as the center of the basketball universe during the COVID-19 pandemic, when the city successfully hosted the entirety of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament inside a bubble. Hysteria also highlights the growth and influence of women’s basketball in Indiana. WNBA icon and hall of famer Tamika Catchings and other pioneers of the women’s game reflect on breakthrough moments that helped elevate the sport and inspire new generations of star players like Caitlin Clark.

The podcast was developed thanks to a partnership between Visit Indy and the Indiana Sports Corp with support from the NCAA and is produced by Rococo Punch. Hysteria connects the history of the game with the city that continues to shape its future. The limited-series podcast launches March 18, 2026, with episodes available on all major podcast platforms.

For basketball fans inspired to experience the city behind the stories, Visit Indy encourages listeners to explore the many courts, arenas, and historic sites that make Indianapolis a world basketball capital. Plan your trip at VisitIndy.com.

Audio Primes: The People Who Listen to Podcasts

Thursday, April 16th at 2PM EST

In this webinar, Sounds Profitable unveils Audio Primes, a new audience segment sponsored by RSS.com and drawn from The Podcast Landscape 2025 study. These are podcast consumers who listen to at least three-quarters of their content as audio, and they defy every stereotype you might have about them. We'll walk through who they are, how they consume media, what drives their remarkable loyalty, and why they function as the word-of-mouth engine of the entire podcast ecosystem. Join Tom Webster, Partner at Sounds Profitable, and Alberto Betella from RSS.com as they present original research you won't find anywhere else. Whether you sell ads, make shows, or build platforms, you'll leave with a clearer picture of the audience that matters most and a better understanding of what to do about it.
