
beehiiv is deepening its push into podcasting with the hiring of Ainsley Rossitto as Head of Podcast, starting May 11. Rossitto joins from Paramount Global, where she was VP of Digital Strategy and Operations for podcasts, and will help lead beehiiv’s effort to make audio a core pillar of its “own your audience” platform. The move comes as beehiiv expands beyond newsletters into a full-stack creator platform. Native podcast hosting is now live, along with a Podcast MCP that gives creators AI-powered access to audio analytics. More tools, including video, ad tech, and richer monetization, are on the roadmap. beehiiv also recently added webinars to its digital product suite.
After announcing that creators could host, distribute, and monetize podcasts on beehiiv last month, beehiiv hit its quarterly target within 24 hours of launch, with existing users, new podcast launches, and brand-new customers all contributing to early adoption. The company is aiming to become a competitive enterprise hosting platform as podcast consumption reaches 58% of Americans monthly and global podcast ad spend heads toward $5 billion in 2026.
