Rhapsody Voices: Two New Shows from Well-Known Creators

Rhapsody Voices

July 15, 2024

Creator-first podcast network, Rhapsody Voices, announced the launch of brand new podcasts from two top creators in the field – The Mystery Hour with Rabia Chaudry and Around the World with Geoff from YouTube sensation, Geography by Geoff.

With hundreds of millions of downloads, Rabia Chaudry is well known for making a splash in the podcast space. Undisclosed, Rabia and Ellyn Solve the Case and Nighty Night are just a few examples of her success in the field, dating back to 2015. Mystery Hour, however, sees Chaudry partner up with award-winning, long-running suspense magazines. Ellery Queen’s and Alfred Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazines are working with Chaudry as she dives into and narrates contemporary crime-fiction stories evocative of the Master of Suspense.

“I grew up with the The Alfred Hitchcock and Ellery Queen Mystery magazines and bringing their stories to life is a many years long dream for me! Rhapsody has been a fantastic partner in the past, and I’m thrilled to be partnering with them again for this dream project,” says Chaudry regarding her choice to bring her newest podcast to Rhapsody Voices.

Jumping from Suspense Fiction to Society & Culture, Rhapsody is spanning all genres as they partner with Geography by Geoff – for the launch of Around The World with Geoff – his first-ever, long-form simulcast podcast across both video and audio. With over 450,000 subscribers on YouTube, Gibson has been creating videos that reach millions of people since 2021.

In this new show, however, Gibson dives even further into the geography, culture and history of places worldwide. Every episode invites a new, special guest to discuss where they’re from and the history and geography of different countries and states, providing unique insights, education, and travel tips.

“While I love exploring the world through my videos, being able to talk to people from different places, share in conversation and laughs about how different countries and states evolved is truly a unique experience that I could only ever do as a podcast,” says Gibson about expanding his brand into long-form, guest-driven podcasting.

Rhapsody Voices was founded by a team of digital natives with deep experience at the top 5 podcasting networks. The company is focused and committed to creating win-win opportunities in the podcasting marketplace. The team zealously represents shows while staying purposeful to identify and develop strong advertising and sponsorship opportunities that truly produce results for agencies and brands.

CEO of Rhapsody, Mike Jensen, commented, “both shows represent premium content with talented creators passionate about building and entertaining highly engaged viewers and listeners, resulting in success for sponsors.”

Both Mystery Hour and Around The World with Geoff Gibson will premiere the week of July 15th.

In partnership with Signal Hill Insights and some of the leading brands in podcasting, Sounds Profitable commissioned a study of over 5000 Americans 18+ to understand why they do, or do not listen to podcasts, what the barriers to future growth are, and how we can turn casual listeners into fans of the medium. Join us on Wednesday, August 28th, at 2:00 p.m. EST, for an hour of presentation by Tom Webster, made possible by APM, BetterHelp, ESPN Podcasts, Libsyn Ads, SirirusXM Podcast Network, and Wondery.
