Triton Digital Releases the August 2024 Canadian Podcast Ranker

Triton Digital®, the global technology and services leader to the digital audio, podcast, and broadcast radio industries, announced today the release of the latest Canada Podcast Ranker for the August 2024 reporting period (July 29, 2024 – September 1, 2024), as measured by Triton’s Podcast Metrics measurement service.

For this reporting period, the top three Canada originated French-language podcasts included Le Radiojournal (Radio Canada) again at #1, Mario Dumont (QUB) climbing to #2, and Les chroniques financières du 98,5 (Cogeco Media) again at #3.

The top three Canada originated English-language podcasts included Front Burner (CBC/Radio-Canada) again at #1, The World This Hour (CBC/Radio-Canada) again at #2, and World Report (CBC/Radio-Canada) climbing to #3.

Yet again, the top ranked podcast overall was Dateline NBC (NBCUniversal News Group). SiriusXM Podcast Network earned the #1 spot again on the Top Networks Report with 3.90M Average Weekly Downloads, followed by Wondery Network again at #2 with 1.53M Average Weekly Downloads, and CBC/Radio-Canada again at #3 with 1.45M Average Weekly Downloads.

The month of August saw four debuts including Noble (SiriusXM Podcast Network) and The Late Show Pod Show with Stephen Colbert (Paramount) for the top ranked podcasts.

Par Pure Vengeance (QUB) debuted for the Canada originated French-language podcasts, and Personally (CBC/Radio-Canada) debuted for the Canada originated English-language podcasts.

The Top Sales Network Report is ranked by Average Weekly Downloads, in accordance with v2.1 of the IAB Podcast Technical Measurement Guidelines.
