Podscape Biannual Update is Coming, Submissions are Open
The Podscape is a joint project between Magellan AI and Sounds Profitable to provide a bird’s-eye view of the business side of podcasting in one giant infographic. Effectively a city map of as many podcasting companies as possible, with logos sorted by their respective neighborhood based on what services they provide. Twice a year we put out an open call for companies to submit themselves, either for net-new addition or updating existing information (e.g. a new logo, or change in direction). The new Podscape submission form is live now and will be taking new submissions until end-of-day, Friday, June 20th.

They also report a 25% improvement in Q1 gross margin year over year, and more than $3 million in low-performing contracts have been relinquished and replaced.
Top Branded Videos of the Week
Tubefilter dedicates a section to going over the growing force of YouTube Shorts, looking at Gospel Stats (a YouTube data provider) top weekly ranking of most-viewed sponsored videos. Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson has taken the branded content world by storm, working sponsored content into every facet of his media empire. It’s no surprise the top two Shorts are the result of MrBeast collabs, but third place serves as a reminder of podcasting’s ability to start a conversation. A 17 second clip from The Ramsey Show, featuring an on-screen callout Zander Insurance, has racked up 11 million views and 3,600 comments since March 29th.
