Magellan AI is the podcast media planning platform relied upon by advertisers and publishers transacting hundreds of millions of dollars in podcast advertising. Magellan AI has created the world’s largest database of podcast advertising data, covering activity by tens of thousands of shows in the US, Canada, Australia, Germany, and the UK. Media buyers at advertisers and agencies rely on Magellan AI to find, vet and connect with podcasts. Publishers rely on Magellan AI for the most in-depth ad intelligence available in podcasting.

We’re looking for Account Executives to develop partnerships with brands, agencies and publishers.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead compelling demos for prospective customers
  • Follow up consistently with prospects after demos until you get a clear “yes” or “no”
  • Aggressively build your own funnel while mentoring members of our Sales Development team who will be supporting you by qualifying leads and booking demos
  • Develop your own relationships within the podcast industry, and leverage those relationships to drive new business opportunities
  • Stay plugged into industry news to identify opportunities for you and the team

About you:

  • You’ve managed a software sales funnel and closed deals
  • Nice to have: enterprise-level podcast advertising experience, e.g. buying or selling ads, ad ops, or sales strategy
  • You’re not afraid of prospecting and filling the top of the sales funnel
  • You’re motivated by money: you’ll be incentivized to overachieve quotas
  • You’ve used tools like Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach.io, Google Sheets, Excel and/or other prospecting tools

Compensation & Benefits

  • $80-100k Base, $130-160k OTE
  • Options for medical, dental, and vision insurance – under our current plans, individuals can get coverage through the company for free, and can get coverage for their families at company-subsidized rates
  • Up to $500/year reimbursable expenses for improving your home office
  • Use of a company laptop and external monitor for the duration of your employment
  • Our PTO policy provides for 11 holidays plus 20 days of paid leave for vacation, illness, personal time, etc.
