You’ll manage a team while working closely with Sales, Marketing, and other partners to bring campaigns to life from idea through delivery. This role sits at the center of it all—shaping strategy, strengthening client relationships, and making sure every campaign runs smoothly and delivers real impact.

What you’ll do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers and Associate Account Managers, supporting their growth and day-to-day success.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to build media plans and shape compelling partnership offerings across podcasts and branded content.
  • Oversee campaigns from kickoff through execution, ensuring everything runs smoothly and meets client expectations.
  • Bring new partnership ideas to the table, helping to create thoughtful, first-to-market opportunities across media properties.
  • Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to grow and renew existing partnerships.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to move ideas forward, from early concepts through go-to-market execution.
  • Partner with Legal to support contract reviews and approvals across multiple deals.
  • Manage financial workflows, including pricing alignment, billing, and invoicing.
  • Act as a go-to resource for media products, ensuring campaign details, timelines, and specs are accurate and aligned.

What you’ll bring

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 7 years of experience in account management, media planning, or client services, ideally within a publisher environment.
  • Experience working with podcasts, along with familiarity in branded content and influencer marketing.
  • Experience managing and developing team members, with a focus on growth and performance.
  • Strong client management skills and the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a strong sense of ownership.

Audio Primes: The People Who Listen to Podcasts

Thursday, April 16th at 2PM EST

In this webinar, Sounds Profitable unveils Audio Primes, a new audience segment sponsored by RSS.com and drawn from The Podcast Landscape 2025 study. These are podcast consumers who listen to at least three-quarters of their content as audio, and they defy every stereotype you might have about them. We'll walk through who they are, how they consume media, what drives their remarkable loyalty, and why they function as the word-of-mouth engine of the entire podcast ecosystem. Join Tom Webster, Partner at Sounds Profitable, and Alberto Betella from RSS.com as they present original research you won't find anywhere else. Whether you sell ads, make shows, or build platforms, you'll leave with a clearer picture of the audience that matters most and a better understanding of what to do about it.
