We are looking for an A-player, driven Account Manager to join our team during this exciting moment of hyper-growth for our company. In this role, you won’t just be managing relationships – you will act as a strategic consultant and product evangelist for top-tier advertisers and publishers leveraging our cutting-edge tech.
The Account Manager will partner closely with Sales to oversee campaign execution, client reporting and performance, provide strategic product expertise to drive revenue, and optimize workflow processes. This individual will collaborate cross-functionally across the organization and engage directly with clients, delivering a high standard of service and operational excellence.
Essential Functions:
- Act as a subject matter expert on Barometer’s product suite across direct & programmatic campaigns.
- Manage execution and performance of live direct and programmatic campaigns.
- Collaborate with the team to standardize and optimize operational best practices and workflows.
- Drive account growth by identifying expansion opportunities and influencing upsell and renewal strategies.
- Create client reporting on a weekly cadence to keep up with key deliverables
- Lead client performance reporting and status calls, translating data into actionable insights.
- Develop campaign & quarterly wrap decks and performance analyzes to support renewals and upsell opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and templatize case studies, wrap decks, and client-facing materials.
- Deliver a consistently high standard of service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous account management experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- MUST be an A-Player. A single B+ can tank the whole ship
- 4+ years of work experience in digital media
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic, start-up environment
- Experience identifying and collaborating closely with sales on renewals and upsell opportunities.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the agency landscape and client KPIs/objectives.
- Strategic critical thinker, data-driven, and able to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to become proficient in new technologies to efficiently manage business processes.
- Legally qualified to work in the United States subject to I-9 Verification
Required Competencies & Skills:
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the dynamic advertising landscape, leveraging new technologies to enhance business efficiencies and revenue growth.
- Highly self-motivated, with exceptional analytical acumen and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to foster cross-functional collaboration and drive innovation and progress across teams.
- Fluent in Excel (ideally including the ability to write Apps Scripts) and comfortable with Google Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at measurement companies such as brand standards/safety vendors, attribution vendors and/or experience working on the publisher side, with a strong understanding of ad operations, the client/agency landscape, and client-facing campaign execution.
- Experience managing and executing both direct and programmatic campaigns, with a strong understanding of planning, activation, and optimization across channels.
Hybrid Balance: Barometer has an office in New York City and you would be expected to work from the office some days each week as part of this hybrid role
