Wondery is behind seven of the “Top 10 New Shows of 2021”, according to Podtrac, including #1 (The Apology Line) and #2 (Suspect). Forty shows from Wondery have hit #1 on Apple Podcasts including Harsh Reality and Operator. Many Wondery shows have been adapted for scripted television or streaming series, including Dr. Death on Peacock, The Shrink Next Door on Apple TV+, the upcoming WeCrashed on Apple TV+ and Joe vs Carole on Peacock. Wondery has gained critical acclaim and commercial success for its immersive approach to sonic, emotionally driven storytelling, which helps listeners to “Feel the Story.” The Wondery app offers a unique, personalized podcast listening experience with over 15,000 episodes, including access to its premium ad-free offering Wondery+. With Wondery+, fans experience early access, exclusive episodes, and ad-free listening.

The AdOps Campaign Manager is responsible for creating, executing and delivering on campaigns within the ad server. They need to work cross-functionally across both internal and external stakeholders to bring podcast advertising to life. They are tasked with being the liaison between the internal sales team and our external customers to ensure correct campaign setup, delivery on KPIs, and customer satisfaction. The Campaign Manager will also be responsible for implementation of 3rd party tags, including VAST tags.

Key job responsibilities

  • Traffic all campaigns sold and booked by the internal sales and marketing teams
  • Partner with Account Managers and Sales Executives on execution and pacing of campaigns
  • Pull reporting and data on booked campaigns, working closely with external customers on ideal requirements of reports
  • Collaborate with the internal Product team on updates and ideation for new features to increase productivity
  • Lead weekly calls with Account Managers on delivery updates, campaign issues, and all other important data points to be relayed back to the Sales Executives
  • Monetize our Targeted Ad Sales platform by working with the Sales Strategiest and other teams to ensure the Targeted publishers are happy
  • Troubleshoot campaign and delivery issues
  • Manage workflow to ensure deadlines are met and campaigns have successful outcomes
  • Build customer relationships, acting as day-to-day point of contact during post-sales cycle for the Sales team
  • Work with Ad Operations team and other internal teams on the progress of best practices

Several of Wondery’s shows have been adapted for scripted television or streaming series, including Dirty John on USA, Dr. Death on Peacock, The Shrink Next Door on Apple TV+, and WeCrashed on Apple TV+ and Joe Exotic on Peacock.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of professional or military experience
  • 1+ years of digital advertising and client facing roles experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and common 3rd party ad servers such as DoubleClick
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications, Photoshop, HTML5, Rich Media, and Salesforce
  • Experience in publisher, ad tech or agency ad serving systems like Ad Manager 360 or FreeWheel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in online or digital advertising
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Experience managing and or coordinating projects in a fast pace environment
