About the Role
The Axis is a podcast production company specializing in aesthetic medicine, plastic surgery, and B2B SaaS healthcare marketing. We develop, produce, and distribute podcasts for physicians and healthcare technology companies, treating every episode as a strategic relationship-building channel and a compounding content asset.
This is a contract, part-time position that sits at the intersection of production management and content creation. The Content Lead owns the end-to-end flow of content: from coordinating podcast production through editors and clients, to writing copy that goes out under The Axis’s name. It is a senior-skill role with a hands-on scope — the right candidate writes with discipline and closes every loop, including the operational ones.
What You’ll Own
Production Operations
Manage the ClickUp production board across all active shows — clip assignments, editor priorities, and due dates. Locate, organize, and route assets to editors; keep the Frame.io review queue moving. Coordinate recording session scheduling with clients and monitor active sessions. Proactively chase approvals, editor deliverables, and client responses.
Podcast Content & Copy Editing
Edit and finalize episode titles, descriptions, and social copy to a published house standard. Use Canva to create YouTube thumbnail images for full episodes. Select social clip candidates from new episodes. Operate AI-assisted workflows — including Claude-based automations — to move fast without sacrificing quality. Contribute to refining these systems as you develop fluency with them. Support repurposing and content deliverables, which may include email marketing campaigns or blog posts in standard CMS environments.
Contract, part-time engagement. Approximately 20 hours per week to start.
Fully remote, flexible US business hours.
Tools: ClickUp, Frame.io, Riverside, Claude, Podpage, Canva, WordPress, HubSpot, Constant Contact (and others — tool fluency is expected to grow with the role).
