About Role
Acast truly is the home of podcasting representing over 100,000 podcasts globally from premium publishers such as The BBC, FT, Economist, The Guardian, and many more through to some of the world’s most loved independents like James Acaster, Cristina Mitre, Marc Maron…throughout the US, Europe, Asia and beyond…
As International Account Executive, you will be reporting into our International Director of Sales and working with our International team and liaising with local offices across the world. We are looking for a confident & tenacious individual keen to own and grow their own business patch.
This role is ideal for someone who has some sales or planning experience in a digital or audio environment or agency background, and the drive to move into a sales role in a fast moving media environment.
What you´ll do
• Grow revenue across your own agency and client portfolio
• Present and pitch to your agency patch
• Proactively prospect new clients and agency contacts
• Have an individual sales target as well as helping the International & Global team reach the wider targets
• Educate clients on the Acast Marketplace offering and keep them updated on the latest commercial opportunities
• Liaise with podcasters about new campaigns
• Liaise with planners, Acast creative and brand partnerships to put together media plans and proposals for your clients
• Work closely with the creator network team to understand commercial opportunities
Who you are
You have a proven desire to work within a fast paced sales environment and strong presentation skills. You are creatively minded and has the ability to prioritize effectively and work well under pressure
•Highly organized Self Starter / motivator
•Driven & resilientProficient in using Excel, Word and Google Slides
•Good communication skills: face to face, on phone & in writingStrong relationship and interpersonal skills
•A true team player with the ability to work collaboratively
•Ideally knowledgeable about the wider media landscape
• Passionate about podcasts! A second language is a bonus
