Long Island Direct Marketing Ad Agency specializing in Insert Media, Print, Direct Mail, Podcasts and Email Newsletters is searching for a talented and ambitious professional looking for a job with significant growth potential. Our busy and fast-growing company requires an independent Assistant who is eager to support the Media Buying team in their day-to-day functions and who likes to be challenged.
As a Media Buyer Assistant, you must enjoy undertaking diversified tasks and ensuring that deadlines are met. The ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Media, Marketing, or a related field, ideally with 1-3 years of experience in this field or a related one. Candidates must have a strong attention to detail and be consistently thorough and accurate. Good Excel skills are required. Knowledge of the media landscape is a plus, but not required.

Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in all facets and management of media placements
- Enter or upload and maintain media-related and supplier-related information in internal system
- Regularly communicate with media suppliers, printers, etc.
- Assist other team members on various tasks or projects as needed
- Handle creative ad trafficking
- Review vendor proofs and confirm accuracy of key codes
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or a minimum two years’ related experience
- Strong in Microsoft Excel
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Superior attention to detail and accuracy
- Dependable with excellent time management skills
- Organized, self-motivated, hard-working problem solver who is able to work with minimal direction once objectives are clearly stated
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, with an inherent ability to work well under tight timelines
- Proven capability to encourage, develop and maintain good working relationships at all levels
- Outstanding verbal and written communication
- Independent follow up and follow through
