About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven self-starter to join our Irish team to help manage and develop our premium podcasts. This is an ideal position for anyone who loves podcasts and comes from a talent management or media background. This is a fixed term employment until April 2025.
You will be responsible for managing relationships with publishers and podcasters, and work directly with Acast’s sales, PR, acquisition, and product teams, as well as with colleagues in our local offices in global markets. You have previous experiences with media companies, strong attention to detail, and you are proactive, highly organized, and personable.
Applicants must have a background in content and/or marketing within the media industry. In your daily work, you’ll be able to demonstrate a sensitivity to commercial content opportunities as well as an appreciation of the rapidly evolving podcast landscape with a data-driven approach. Acast is a remote-first company, but you must be based in Ireland. You will report into the Director of Content for Ireland.
What you will do
In this role you will manage high-level relationships with podcast creators and publishers. You will;Be the lead and day-to-day contact for our top podcast creators, building and maintaining strong, positive and productive relationships.
• Work with our podcasters on launching, marketing and growing their podcasts. You will help determine their goals and create strategies for reaching them.
• Assist the wider content and marketing teams with growth plans and PR and marketing activities
• Offer content, marketing, show and audience development and branding advice.
• Know when to pull in colleagues across Acast, like sales, marketing and product leads.
Who you are
• Proficient knowledge and understanding of the Irish podcast market and audio industry.
• Proficient experience dealing with external partners and working cross-departmentally in digital media, digital marketing, production or content.
• Comfortable interacting with talent of all shapes and sizes in a manner that quickly develops rapport and trust.
• A team player who is collaborative, creative and motivated self-starter who has a proactive approach to work.Enjoy working in a fast paced environment and capable of managing many different projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Experience using audio production software is a plus.
• Highly organized and capable of managing many different projects at once.Have an interest in pop culture and current affairs. A strong interest/ passion for podcasting is a must!
