About Acast
Since 2014, Acast has been building the world’s most valuable podcast marketplace, creating the technology that connects podcast creators, advertisers, and listeners. Its marketplace spans more than 140,000 podcasts, 3,300 advertisers, and one billion quarterly listens. Crucially, those listens are monetized wherever they happen—across any podcast app or listening platform.

About the role
Join Acast and help shape the future of podcasting. Acast is the powerhouse behind some of the world’s most successful podcasts. We proudly work with hit independent podcasts like Giggly Squad, Watch What Crappens, The Best One Yet, alongside world-class publishers such as The Athletic, SLATE, & The TED Audio Collective. When you join the Acast Sales team, you’re stepping into the heart of the podcast economy and will play a vital role in connecting brands with the creators they love.

As a Performance Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving measurable results across podcast campaigns for direct response advertisers. Unlike traditional digital channels, podcast performance requires a nuanced approach, balancing host-read endorsements, run-of-network scale, and attribution.

This role is focused on clients with clear KPI goals (CPA, conversions, site visits), requiring ongoing optimization, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to translate podcast performance into actionable insights. You will play a key role in ensuring campaigns not only deliver, but improve over time through strategic recommendations and hands-on management.

Compensation: $75000 annual + bonus

  • Manage performance-driven podcast campaigns from planning through reporting
  • Own delivery against KPIs (CPA, conversions, site visits), balancing scale and efficiency
  • Build and optimize media plans across host reads, RON, and targeted buys
  • Monitor performance and pacing, making optimizations across show selection, targeting, and scale
  • Partner with Sales, Ad Ops, and Acast Creative to ensure strong execution and resolve delivery or tracking issues
  • Leverage tools (e.g., Podscribe, ArtsAI) to analyze performance and provide actionable insights
  • Lead client reporting, including pacing updates, optimizations, and post-campaign recaps
  • Work with clients and Acast Finance to ensure a smooth billing & payment process
  • Act as a subject matter expert on podcast performance best practices

Audio Primes: The People Who Listen to Podcasts

Thursday, April 16th at 2PM EST

In this webinar, Sounds Profitable unveils Audio Primes, a new audience segment sponsored by RSS.com and drawn from The Podcast Landscape 2025 study. These are podcast consumers who listen to at least three-quarters of their content as audio, and they defy every stereotype you might have about them. We'll walk through who they are, how they consume media, what drives their remarkable loyalty, and why they function as the word-of-mouth engine of the entire podcast ecosystem. Join Tom Webster, Partner at Sounds Profitable, and Alberto Betella from RSS.com as they present original research you won't find anywhere else. Whether you sell ads, make shows, or build platforms, you'll leave with a clearer picture of the audience that matters most and a better understanding of what to do about it.
