Bumper’s podcast marketing experience, combined with our proprietary analytics software, gives podcasters actionable insights to make smart decisions for their shows. Our services include podcast growth strategies, audience analytics frameworks, and automated podcast measurement.

We are excited to expand our team to serve our rapidly growing roster of clients. We are looking for a Podcast Growth Specialist to help our clients expand the reach of their shows. This is a remote position, and the successful candidate must be legally allowed to work in Canada.

The Podcast Growth Specialist will

  • Help develop podcast growth strategies in collaboration with other Bumper team members
  • Engage with clients to create plans that measurably grow the reach of their shows
  • Attend strategy sessions alongside Bumper’s co-founders
  • Help provide consulting services to a wide range of clients, including large-scale, internationally recognized podcast networks, Fortune 500 companies, and influential non-for-profit organizations
  • Execute podcast PR tactics including
  • Promo swaps
  • Arranging guest appearances on other podcasts
  • Pitches to podcasting publications
  • Manage paid campaigns in service of podcast growth
  • Secure paid promo inventory on other podcasts
  • Measure and report on paid campaign performance
  • Manage stakeholders
  • Measure and report on clients’ podcast success
  • Conduct custom podcast market research and analysis
  • Write strategy documents, recommendations, and other documentation
  • Provide ad-hoc client support

The Podcast Growth Specialist has

  • A growth mindset
  • 3-5 years of experience in a podcast growth, marketing, or audience development role
  • Experience with podcast media buying and podcast PR
  • Familiarity with podcast measurement
  • Abounding curiosity about podcast audiences and how to best serve them
  • Extensive knowledge of the podcast industry, competitive landscape, and key players
  • Outstanding client service skills and a spirit of partnership and collaboration
  • Strong writing skills that prioritize clarity and concision
  • An eye for detail and distaste for disorganization
