About the Role:

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for identifying and captivating potential agency clients in the digital audio industry. In this pivotal role, you’ll spearhead the generation of new business opportunities, foster invaluable relationships with prospective clients, and provide indispensable support to the sales team across diverse tasks. This role not only offers the chance to learn from top sellers but also provides a clear pathway to an exciting and successful career in sales within the dynamic digital audio sector.

Key Relationships:

  • External: Media Planners, Buyers, Digital Strategists, and Programmatic Specialists within advertising agencies.

  • Internal: Sales team, Marketing team, Product team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Work hand-in-hand with the sales team to develop persuasive pitch decks, presentations, and other marketing collateral tailored to specific prospects and industries.

  • Conduct outreach campaigns to identify and engage with potential agency clients in the digital audio space.

  • Become an expert in our ad personalization solutions for digital audio and wow prospects with your ability to communicate the value proposition.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to qualify leads and identify potential opportunities for further engagement.

  • Stay organized and maintain accurate records of prospecting activities and pipeline updates within our CRM system.

  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to build connections and identify new prospects.

  • Stay ahead of the curve by continuously learning about industry trends, the competitive landscape, and client needs to refine your prospecting approach.

  • Support the sales team by creating pitch decks, presentations, and marketing materials tailored to specific prospects and industries.

  • Assist in conducting market research and analysis to uncover new opportunities and trends in digital audio and programmatic advertising.

  • Contribute to developing and maintaining sales enablement resources, including case studies, product information, and competitive intelligence.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and distribute targeted email campaigns and social media content to support lead-generation efforts.

About You:

  • 1-2 years of experience working in a sales support role within Ad Tech or a Media Agency.

  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and prospecting tools.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with prospects.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining accurate prospect data.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with the sales team and contribute to the overall business development efforts.

  • Resilience and a positive attitude in the face of rejection during the prospecting process.

  • Strong research and analytical skills to support market analysis and sales enablement initiatives.

  • Creativity and attention to detail in developing compelling sales and marketing materials.

  • Familiarity with common productivity and presentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.).

This position’s annual base pay range is $70,000.00-$85,000.00 plus commissions. The actual amount offered may be higher or lower based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities.
