As the Strategic Business Development Manager, you will be instrumental in driving La Coctelera Music’s growth, forging new partnerships, and ensuring we’re positioned as leaders in the content production and podcasting industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Vision: Understand and align with La Coctelera Music’s long-term goals, ensuring all strategies and actions are in line with our future vision.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Building:

  • Identify, engage, and secure new clients, ensuring a consistent stream of business opportunities.
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders; Drive the end-to-end sales process
  • Lead and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, showcasing La Coctelera Music’s capabilities, past successes, and value proposition.
  • Represent La Coctelera Music at industry events, conferences, and seminars, expanding our network and staying abreast of industry trends.
  • Forge and nurture strong relationships in the podcasting and media industry, setting the groundwork for future collaborations.

Content Strategy & Marketing Insight:

  • Explore and implement various monetization strategies, including sponsorships, advertising, and potential subscription models.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of podcast genres, audience preferences, and emerging trends to inform business development strategies.
  • Introduce and monitor Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to ensure strategies are data-driven and results-oriented.
  • Familiarize with podcast production processes, technologies, and tools to ensure seamless collaboration with internal teams.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous feedback, ensuring strategies are optimized and in line with industry best practices.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the Co-Founders & Graphic Designers to ensure presentations are visually compelling and resonate with potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the production teams to gather insights and data for pitches; fostering a culture of teamwork and shared vision.

Qualifications:

– Proven track record in business development, preferably in the media, entertainment, or podcasting industry.

– Strong relationship-building skills with a wide network in the media industry and brands.

– Deep understanding of podcast genres, audience preferences, and industry trends.

– Demonstrated ability to develop and implement monetization strategies.

– Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.

– Excellent communication and presentation skills.

– Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
