Rob Morrow and Janine Turner reunite for Northern Disclosure, a rewatch podcast of the Golden Globe and Emmy-winning TV series Northern Exposure, in partnership with Evergreen Podcasts. The video podcast is honest, fun, and filled with insightful behind-the-scenes banter delivered with the same frank charm of Fleischman and O’Connell. The series, which originally aired on CBS from 1990 to 1995, follows recently graduated Dr. Joel Fleischman (Morrow) as he’s uprooted from New York City to Cicely to repay his student loans. Dropping into the tiny Alaskan town, Fleischman encounters a cast of eccentric and endearing locals, including his headstrong landlady and eventual love interest, Maggie O’Connell (Turner), who has a curious pattern of ill-fated boyfriends.
Still beloved decades later, the popular Northern Exposure is enjoying a streaming resurgence with a featured spot on Amazon Prime and energized buzz across fan communities. Known for its philosophical storytelling, the series explored cultural identity with humor and heart. With renewed interest, Northern Disclosure arrives at the perfect moment.

Beyond his iconic role as Dr. Joel Fleischman, Rob Morrow is an Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated actor and director with a celebrated career spanning television, film, and stage His recent screen work includes Super Pumped, Billions, Shining Vale, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and a lead role in CBS’s NUMB3RS. In film, Morrow is known for standout performances in Quiz Show, Mother, and A24’s The Kill Team. He also plays a central role in the upcoming indie drama Max Dagan and recently wrapped production on the Civil War spy series The Gray House. As a director, Morrow has helmed episodes for series such as Games People Play, The Fosters, NCIS: New Orleans, and HBO’s Oz.
Janine Turner has continued to shape a multi-faceted career in film, media, public service, and publishing. In addition to her three Golden Globe and Emmy nominations as the feisty bush pilot Maggie O’Connell in Northern Exposure, Turner is known for starring roles in films such as: Cliffhanger, Leave It to Beaver, Dr. T & the Women, Solace, Patsy & Loretta and series Strong Medicine and Friday Night Lights. Off screen, she was recently awarded The Ellis Island Medal of Honor for her exceptional service to country. She is the founder and co-president of Constituting America and currently serves as a Texas Commissioner for The Governor’s Commission for Women. Turner, a five-time published author, is also a seasoned voice behind the mic, she created and hosted The Janine Turner Show for KLIF and KRPC and recently relaunched her faith-based podcast, Janine Turner’s God On The Go. With Northern Disclosure, Turner reunites with her cohort and friend, Rob Morrow, sharing her unique thoughts, passions and remembrances as Maggie O’Connell in Northern Exposure, episode by episode.
