The team at Everybody Media are working hard behind the scenes and are pleased to announce that tickets for this year’s International Women’s Podcast Awards are now available, for the in-person event in London and this year we are excited to announce our new venue at the BBC Radio Theatre!
Now in its 5th year, the awards will take place on Tuesday 17th June at the BBC Radio Theatre, London with an accompanying global livestream, bringing together podcasters, audio professionals, and podcast enthusiasts to celebrate the remarkable achievements of women in podcasting worldwide.
This year, the IWPAs received entries from over 35 different countries worldwide including Bhutan, Equatorial Guinea, and Iceland, showcasing the variety of work led by women in audio across the globe.

If you’d like a little more detail: Hidden away in a historic Grade II listed building in the heart of Central London, the BBC’s Radio Theatre is an intimate performance venue with grand decor. It first opened its doors in 1934, originally as a sound studio. Today, this iconic art deco setting hosts daily concerts, variety shows and comedy acts for TV and radio in front of a live audience.
The International Women’s Podcast Awards aims to help level the playing field in this exciting and evolving industry by rewarding and elevating the podcast hosts, editors, producers and writers out there whose work deserves recognition. The team have been delighted by the number and variety of over 35 countries from which entries have been received in previous years, and we have been similarly blown away by the breadth this year. The category shortlists will be announced week commencing May 19th 2025.
The vision of the IWPAs and Everybody Media is a podcasting world where it is talent that is recognised, and where the playing field is equal, regardless of who you are, where you are or how much funding you have. To this end, we consider removing barriers to entry and attendance to be vitally important.
