Triton Digital Releases the February 2024 Canada Podcast Ranker

NEW YORK, NEW YORK – March 20, 2024 – Triton Digital®, the global technology and services leader to the digital audio, podcast, and broadcast radio industries, announced today the release of the latest Canada Podcast Ranker for the February 2024 reporting period (January 29, 2024 – February 25, 2024), as measured by Triton’s Podcast Metrics measurement service. The month of February had 11.4M average weekly downloads.

For this reporting period, the top three Canada originated French-language podcasts included Le Radiojournal (Radio Canada) again at #1, Les chroniques de Pierre-Yves McSween (Cogeco Media) again at #2, and Richard Martineau (QUB) again at #3.

The top three Canada originated English-language podcasts included Front Burner (CBC/Radio-Canada) again at #1, The World This Hour (CBC/Radio-Canada) again at #2, and The Current (CBC/Radio-Canada) climbing to #3.

Yet again, the top ranked podcast overall was Dateline NBC (NBCUniversal News Group). SiriusXM Podcast Network earned the #1 spot again on the Top Networks Report with 3.69M Average Weekly Downloads, followed by Wondery Network again at #2 with 1.91M Average Weekly Downloads, and CBC/Radio-Canada again at #3 with 1.65M Average Weekly Downloads.

The top ranked podcasts had several debuts in February including MrBallen Podcast: Strange, Dark & Mysterious Stories (Wondery Network), Joel Osteen Podcast (SiriusXM Podcast Network), Dateline Originals (NBCUniversal News Group), In the Dark (Soundrise/PRX), and more.

The Canada originated French-language list had two debuts including J’ai fait un humain – Gabrielle Caron (QUB) and Post-partum – Un balado de Valérie Roberts (QUB).
