Wondery and AT WILL MEDIA Announce New Comedy Podcast The Big Flop

Wondery and AT WILL MEDIA

August 10, 2023

Today, Wondery and AT WILL MEDIA announce the new comedy podcast The Big Flop, a hilarious series centered on famous failures—aka “flops”—across pop culture and business, hosted by comedian and social media personality Misha Brown. Each week, Brown, with an array of humorous guests, will dissect the most deliciously disastrous flops in recent history. The show will debut on Wondery+ on August 21, and everywhere you listen to podcasts on August 28. Prime members can listen to new episodes ad-free on Amazon Music.

The most expensive musical in Broadway history goes belly-up. A theme park turns deadly. And a country megastar goes emo … all with catastrophic results. Each week on The Big Flop, host Misha Brown and his guests will unpack epic fails from Quibi to Crystal Pepsi, with the help of guests like Sasheer Zamata, Chris Gethard, Matt Bellassai, Guy Branum, Connor Ratliff, Jessica McKenna, DJ EFN, and more. Episodes conclude with a ranking of each flop: “minor flop,” “big flop,” or the tragic “mega flop.” Find out what happens when massive hype turns into a major fiasco, and try to answer the age-old question: Who thought THIS was a good idea?!

Misha Brown is a social media personality and comedian known from his social video series “Lessons in Not Crossing a Gay Man.” Brown is known for tackling serious topics such as misogyny, racism, and homophobia, sprinkled with a dash of humor. USA Today called his comedy “equal parts bite and heart.”

The Big Flop is the latest addition to Wondery’s growing comedy slate, including Diss and Tell, I Love My Kid, But…, Don’t Panic, and Queen of Hearts, and is the second co-production between Wondery and award-winning podcast studio AT WILL MEDIA. The first is the recently released Academy, a fictional series starring Industry’s Myha’la Herrold.

The Big Flop is a Wondery and AT WILL MEDIA production.
